Sometimes it is easier to talk than to type. Voice notes let you record short audio clips and send them instantly in a conversation.

Steps

  1. Tap and hold the microphone icon in the message composer.
  2. Speak your message while holding the button.
  3. Release to send, or slide left to cancel.
Tip: Slide up while recording to lock the recording mode, so you can record hands-free.
